From Chaos to Clarity: A Coach Who Gets the Whole Picture

MY mission
Hello, fellow runner!
I'm Yannick — an endurance athlete, coach, father, and lifelong learner.
I created Run Stoic Strides after two decades of racing and 40+ marathons. Why? Because I know what it feels like to chase a personal best, juggle life, and still want more than just a finisher’s medal.
✨ MY PHILOSOPHY: PERFORMANCE & BALANCE
"True strength is knowing when to hold back and when to surge forward."
My approach is rooted in Stoic principles — timeless ideas that help you stay calm under pressure, train with purpose, and race with confidence.
You won’t just get pacing charts and workout checklists.
You’ll get a mental model for excellence.

3h01 - Berlin 2024 Marathon
just above 49yo... just above sub3 🤷♂️

2h57 - Lente Marathon in March 2025
the finish was really hard 😁
You can't cheat the grind. Set goals, commit to them, and take responsibility for your setbacks. Through disciplined thought and disciplined action, we can take on anything.
🎯 Purpose Over Pressure
Racing starts in the mind. We work on breathing, pacing mindset, and emotional regulation before obsessing over splits. You’ll toe the line with focus and peace, not panic.
🧠 Mental First, Miles Second
Your plan shouldn’t control you — it should support you. My guides are built around repeatable processes, so you always know what to do next (even on a bad day).
🔄 Structure That Serves You
Not Just a Coach. A System.
When I started running marathons, there were no guides for the mental grind or the final weeks of doubt. I’ve spent the past two decades building a system I wish I had back then — one that integrates pacing science, mental resilience, and daily clarity.
This isn’t just coaching. It’s a structured method to help you reflect, act, and grow — on and off the course.
